Bev Hooper
Bev Hooper, President of Hooper Access and Privacy Consulting Ltd., brings over 30 years of experience providing information access, privacy and/or information management advice and services to both public and private sector organizations across Canada. As a former Director of FOI and privacy within the provincial government, and now providing consulting services, Bev is one of the most experienced information and privacy consultants in Canada. She possesses expert, in-depth knowledge and experience working with information access and privacy legislation across Canada.
Throughout her professional career, Bev has demonstrated herself as an expert in the information and privacy field and continues to prove herself as a leader. Her excellent track record spans an array of private and public sector clients including:
- Provincial government
- Municipal government
- Offices of the Legislature
- Crown corporations
- Professional governing bodies, and
- Private sector organizations
Her expertise covers various sectors including:

Jo-Ann Bellamy
Jo-Ann Bellamy of J Bellamy Consulting has over 15 years experience providing access to information and protection of privacy services to our clients across Canada. Jo-Ann started her career in information and privacy with the BC Provincial Government where she developed her access and privacy skills in the Ministries of Health, Environment, and Social Development.
As a privacy consultant for the past 8 years, Jo-Ann has provided access and privacy services to a variety of clients including:
- Provincial and Municipal governments
- Crown Corporations
- Post-secondary institutions
- Offices of the Legislature
- First Nations
- Non-profit organizations, and
- Private sector companies

Megan Jacobson
Megan Jacobson has been working in the information access and privacy field for 10 years. Megan has touched all facets of the field and is a life-long learner. Megan’s clients include:

- Educational institutions
- Public and private entities, including not for profit, Canada-wide
She loves organizing things and creating clarity out of chaos. Some of her favorite projects to date include:
- PIAs concerning AI applications
- Auditing, both employee access audits and privacy compliance reviews and audits
- Incident/Breach management and remediation
- The development and delivery of privacy and access training programs
- Large FOI requests and OIPC order remediation
- Working with Health records and educational records
