Bev Hooper, President of Hooper Access and Privacy Consulting Ltd., brings over 30 years experience providing information access, privacy and/or information management advice and services to both public and private sector organizations across Canada. As a former Director of FOI and privacy within the provincial government, and, now providing consulting services in this field, Bev possesses expert, in-depth knowledge and experience working with both public and private sector information access and privacy legislation.
Throughout her professional career, Bev has demonstrated, and continues to prove herself, as an expert and leader in the information and privacy field. Her clients include provincial and municipal government bodies, Offices of the Legislature, Crown corporations, professional governing bodies, and private sector organizations in various sectors including transportation, education, and healthcare. Bev currently holds the position of Chief Privacy Officer for Maximus Canada Inc. who is responsible for the delivery of the Medical Services Plan within British Columbia.
Bev is currently a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals. She possesses strong leadership, advisory, analytical and business process skills. She maintains a welcomed practical approach in responding to her clients needs in this very regulated and policy driven field.
Tracy Jo Reid
Tracy Jo Reid of TJR Management Consulting is a professional privacy consultant with a portfolio that includes over 25 years of expertise in the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy field. She has an extensive business acumen and in-depth knowledge with both public and private sector privacy legislation (Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Personal Information Protection Act, Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, and the Federal Privacy Act).
She also brings over 20 years of extensive experience in: strategic budget planning, development, management and control; budget knowledge and experience in the field of Corporate Health Programs and Employee Benefit Plans. Roseann is progressive (thinks outside the box), client results focused, thorough, and possesses exemplary interpersonal and communication skills. She also brings over 25 years of understanding and wisdom working with and for both the public and private sector.
Jo-Ann Bellamy of J Bellamy Consulting brings over 25 years of experience working for the public service, private sector, and non-profit regulatory bodies, including six years working in Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy with the Ministries of Health, Environment, and Employment and Income Assistance. As a privacy consultant, Jo-Ann brings her knowledge of FOI and privacy legislation to prepare privacy impact assessments, develop privacy policies, conduct privacy reviews, develop on-line privacy and breach training, and process formal Freedom of Information requests.
Jo-Ann also has ten years of experience as a Strategic Human Resources manager providing advice and services to Ministry executive leaders. Specific areas of expertise include development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, workforce planning, HR data analysis, presentations, drafting proposals, developing and facilitating workshops, preparation of briefing notes, and project management.
